  • Fast-paced environment with diverse patient population
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4 for stable patients, 1:1 or 1:2 for critically ill patients
  • Experience required: 2 years, preferably with travel experience
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
    • Must be able to mix medications and assist with respiratory meds/equipment/intubation
    • Critical thinking skills and effective communication are essential
    • Must have experience with acute illnesses and severe injuries
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 7a, 7p, 7p-7a - rotating days/nights
      • Weekend Requirements: 2 out of 6 weekends
      • Holiday Requirements: Yes, with consideration for RTO
      • No call requirement, but OT opportunity if needed
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2 days of unit/department specific orientation
        • Common areas ER staff might float to: Medical Surgical unit
          • Additional Details
          • Common diagnoses include acute illness, severe injuries, chest pain, respiratory distress, neurological issues, and psychiatric emergencies
