  Job Description:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Management of 1-3 critically ill patients.
    
  • Management of varying patient populations including critically ill neuro, surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical patients.
    
  • Primary area of focus will be on our Neuro ICU which cares for ischemic and hemmorhagic strokes, and all other neuro related critically ill patients.
    
  • Ability to manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
    
  • Ability to assist with bedside procedures including RSI, EVD placement, Tracheostomy, line placement, other diagnostic tests.
    
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Min 2 years recent ICU experience within a 200+ bed, level 1 trauma hospital/center
      
    • Previous Neuro ICU experience within the past 2 years
      
    • Ability to care for critical ill patients independently
      
    • BLS - must be AHA
      
    • ACLS - must be AHA
      
    • NIHSS
      
    • ND or compact state RN License
      
    • EPIC experience - required
      
    • Experience with ischemic and hemmorhagic strokes, and all other neuro related critically ill patients
      
    • Experience titrating vasopressor drips - required (must see this on resume or skills checklist)
