Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team
in identifying and arranging insurance coverage for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the underwriting process in compliance with carrier
guidelines and company policies
Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside
binding authority
Develop relationships with carriers and negotiate terms for new and
renewal business
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or
specialty insurance products
Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
Ability to analyze insurance policies and manage the underwriting
process independently
Strong knowledge of underwriting practices relevant to the team's
accounts
