  • House Supervisor position at St Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital
  • Acts as clinical supervisor for all departments
  • Coordinates staffing for on-coming shifts
  • Serves as subject matter expert in clinical nursing departments
  • Resource for all staff
  • Minimum of 3 years house supervisor or manager experience required
  • Travel experience required
  • Prefer strong ED/Trauma background but will consider MS/ICU experience
  • Will they take patient assignment: As needed (rarely assigned patients, but may be needed as helping hands)
  • Will they be responsible for arranging transfers?: Yes
  • Will they be required to mix medications?: Yes
  • Charge nurse duties included
  • Hospitalist and 2 ED providers in house
  • Shift Details: 12 shift, 0630-1900
  • Self-scheduling allowed to an extent
  • Weekend Requirements: EOW
  • Holiday Requirements: Yes (if contract through Dec 31, would expect them to work one holiday)
  • Rounding/Safety Huddles: Yes
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color
  • 3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided

          • Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
