  • Hours are M-F plus call 1 in 3
  • The Perfusionist provides quality perfusion care for patients requiring mechanical support of the cardiovascular system during surgery or treatment modality.
  • Conducts extracorporeal circulation under the direction of a cardiothoracic surgeon and assists in the operation of the intra-aortic balloon pump and cell saver.
  • Provides continuous quality improvement through statistical outcome analysis, education, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, prudent resource utilization and cost center accountability.

    • Cardiovascular Perfusionist - Certified - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion - Within 12 Months of Start Date
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) - Prior to Start Date
