- Certification Details
- Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Job Details
- 13 weeks contract
- Performs general or vascular ultrasound exams.
- Efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room,
including cleaning and stocking their room, cleaning the machine
and filter, and deleting exams off the machine daily.
- Demonstrates regard for patients safety and comfort during
transportation, immobilization and positioning of patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs
of the department/organization.
- Job Requirements
- Ultrasound Technologist assures that a written physician order
is received prior to an exam performance and collects pertinent
information.
- This position reviews exams on Picture Archiving and
Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness,
and completes paperwork and distributes exams for
interpretation.
