Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Accountant - Technical
Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical accounting research and prepare formal position
papers on GAAP guidance
Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with GAAP and
regulatory standards
Assist with month-end accounting tasks, including ASC 842 Leases
and software development capitalization
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
4-8 years of technical accounting experience
Detailed understanding of US GAAP accounting
Experience with technical accounting memo writing and 842 Lease
Accounting
Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance concentration; MBA or
CPA preferred
Public Accounting experience preferred (transaction services or
audit)
