Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pre-Authorization Registered
Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
Review prior authorization requests for appropriate care and
setting, making independent decisions based on guidelines and
policies
Complete medical necessity and level of care reviews, educating
providers on utilization and medical management processes
Enter and maintain clinical information in medical management
systems while understanding departmental and organizational
strategies
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse License in Louisiana or eligibility for
multi-state licensure
Minimum of three years of varied clinical nursing experience
Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new systems
quickly
Ability to work independently under general instructions and
collaboratively within a team
