  • MS/Tele/Peds RN position at St Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital
  • This is a Medsurg/Peds unit - they do not have an ICU at this hospital, but may take Tele or ICU acuity patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have MedSurg, Tele, Peds experience
    • 1 year of experience required
    • Wide skill set required due to variety of patient age and diagnoses
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 7a, 7p, 7p-7a, rotating days and nights - cannot guarantee blocked scheduling
      • Weekend Requirement: 2 out of 6 weekends minimum
      • Holiday Requirement: Yes, will consider RTO if given ahead of time
      • Floating Requirements: May be asked to help in other departments if needed
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, Heparin, Aminophylline, MG, K+, Albumin, blood products
        • Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
        • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Yes - 1:12
        • Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? RNs must be able to read and interpret, no monitor techs
        • Scrub Color: Any color scrub color
        • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation? 2 days, minimum
          • Additional Details
          • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
