    General job duties. Types of procedures required. Provides high quality images, to include sophisticated special procedures, through the operation of specialized equipment which ensures optimum clarity for physician diagnosis and minimum discomfort and radiation exposure to patients. Thoroughly understands the operation of the interventional equipment and supplies, diagnostic radiographic principles, including film/imaging processing, quality control, and radiation protection.
    All vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, tube placements, injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thrombectomy, embolization's, endovascular procedures, central lines, dialysis catheters.
    Works to minimize the risk and duration of recovery to patients, imitating life support measures as necessary. Adheres to the Safety and Infection Control Policies established by Sanford Health. Works to develop an understanding of the patient's physical and emotional status, while practicing sensitivity and patient confidentiality at all times. Works well with all age groups.
    Possesses an extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, and medical terminology. Familiar with operative terms and pharmacology. Knowledge of billing and coding of procedures. Ability to adapt and facilitate change. Performs on a level not requiring constant supervision and must exercise professional judgment in the performance of highly specialized procedures.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule and take after hour call when needed. Ability to provide knowledge and be responsible for scheduling and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in designated units. Observes, evaluates, and participates in the educational processes of the Radiologic Technology student. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC charting, Radiant, Cupid, PACS, Accudose.
    Required skills and minimum years of experience.
    Trained in an Interventional Radiology Setting, practiced as IR tech for minimum 1 year.
    Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
    BLS, ARRT, NDMIRT,
    Shift or schedule requirements.
    Call is required for IR, the team consists of 1 provider, 1 nurse, 1 Scrub Rad Tech, 1 Circulator
    10 hour or 8 hour shifts, starting from 630-530, with call.
    Every 3-4th weekend (Friday 1730- Monday 0700)
    Up to 3 call shifts during the week (1)
    Floating to over units/departments.
    No, but will cover both hospitals. Broadway and SMCF
    Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
    We are procedure based.

    40 hours: 10 hour or 8 hour shifts, starting from 630-530 Call: Every 3-4th weekend (Friday 1730- Monday 0700) and up to 3 call shifts during the week (1). Every other holiday NDMIRT Found out that some of the applicants are sending in their fingerprints to ND BCI instead of to the licensing office (NDMIRT Board licensing office). It is only taking 3-6 days with the BCI background checks. If an applicant sends their fingerprints to BCI it gets rejected and takes a long time for the applicant to receive them back in the mail. Could be close to three weeks. Ensure that they send everything over to the NDMIRT Board licensing office and not to send anything directly to the ND BCI. If the applicant fills out the form correctly, writes the check to the correct place and sends all the stuff to the licensing office it takes less than two weeks.Core Staffing Job ID #159280.
