  • The Surgical Technologist works as part of the team that delivers surgical care in the operating room.
  • The technologist possesses knowledge and skills in sterile and aseptic technique.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of numerous surgical procedures so the needs of the surgeon can be anticipated.
    • Job Requirements
    • Unlicensed Assistive Person - Technician (UAP/T) - North Dakota Board of Nursing - Prior to Start Date
    • Licensed Practical Nurse - North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement - Prior to Start Date
    • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - National Board of Surgical Tech-Surgical Assist (NBSTSA) - Preferred
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) - Within 90 days of Start Date
      • Schedule Information
      • The hours are M-F 40 hours per week plus call during the week and on weekends.
        • Additional Details
        • May be licensed as a UAP/T or LPN.
        • Temporary UAP/T license accepted prior to start.
        • Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or graduate of a military training program.
