TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Devils Lake, North Dakota, 58301 Pay Information $2,640 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Job Specialty: Operating Room Nursing Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, plus on-call duties every fourth week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse license from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or a Compact State Agreement Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, to be completed within 90 days of start date Must-Have: - Background in a rural setting - Additional skills in performing colonoscopy, C-sections, and cataracts Job Description: - Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols. - Maintain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care to patients. - Facilitate patient care coordination within the interdisciplinary team. - Perform daily rounds on all patients, ensuring quality customer service and addressing unmet requirements. - Develop a comprehensive plan of care based on patient assessments reflecting physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs. - Assess, intervene, and reassess patient pain symptoms and take appropriate action. - Identify early warning signs of changes in a patient's condition and respond appropriately. - Assist with or initiate emergency measures for adverse developments in patient conditions. - Report and document pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients accurately. - Establish and maintain communication with patients and significant individuals, providing education and counseling to optimize understanding. - Evaluate and document according to standard procedures. - Assign or delegate responsibilities for nursing interventions appropriately within the scope of practice. - Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational needs. 26758781EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
